Most guides take the whole price by card here, while some take a deposit and the rest in person on the day. The tour page says which, and whether to bring cash.

Every tour shows its cancellation policy before you book. Cancel inside the free window and you get everything back; if your guide cancels, you always get a full refund.

Meet, then review

Your guide has your details, and you can message them from your booking if anything changes. Afterwards, only travellers with a completed booking can leave a review, so every rating comes from someone who went.
